United Airlines has announced a major collaboration with Chef’s Table, the Emmy-winning Netflix series, to elevate inflight dining in its Polaris international business class. Starting August 1, 2026, passengers will enjoy 10 new meal experiences crafted by 11 world-renowned chefs from across four continents, each representing United’s U.S. hubs and key international gateways like London, Tokyo, and São Paulo. Regional inspiration: Meals will reflect the culinary identity of cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo. Chef lineup: - Nancy Silverton (Los Angeles, Osteria Mozza) – Italian cuisine icon. - Fariyal Abdullahi (New York, Hav & Mar) – Ethiopian heritage with European technique. - Manu Buffara (São Paulo, Manu) – Bold Brazilian flavors with sustainable practices. - Jenner Tomaska (Chicago, Esmé, The Alston, Petite Edith) – French techniques with artistry. - Justin Yu (Houston, Theodore Rex) – French-inspired fine dining. - Penelope Wong (Denver, Yuan Wonton) – Asian American flavors rooted in family traditions. - David Barzelay (San Francisco, Lazy Bear, JouJou, True Laurel) – Unpretentious American fine dining. - Isabel Coss & Matt Conroy (Washington, D.C., Lutèce) – French technique meets Mexican sensibility. - Tomos Parry (London, Mountain & Brat) – Open-fire cooking with Welsh and Spanish influences. - Tashi Gyamtso (Tokyo, Jimgu, Enowa Yufuin) – Farm-driven, land-based menus.
