Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans for a new Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana, a flagship all-inclusive resort set to open in 2029. Scale & design: A 650-room new-build resort, including an adults-only building alongside family-friendly accommodations. Partnership: Developed in collaboration with Codelpa, the owner of Secrets Tides Punta Cana. Location: Just 40 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, positioned on the region’s iconic white sand beaches. Guest experiences: - Five specialty restaurants, buffet dining, snack bars, coffee parlor, ice cream venue, and beach club. - Six bars plus a juice bar at the spa. - Wellness facilities: fitness center, yoga studio, outdoor gym, spa with hydrotherapy circuit, sauna, hammam, and bridal suite. - Family amenities: water park, five pools (including adults-only and kids’ pools), pickleball and tennis courts, Kid’s Club, Teen’s Club, mini golf, fire pits, climbing walls, ropes course, playgrounds, and bowling alley. Strategic Context - Hyatt already operates 34 hotels in the Dominican Republic (32 of them all-inclusive), totaling nearly 17,000 rooms. - The new resort complements upcoming openings of Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana and Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana in 2026. - Reinforces Hyatt’s leadership in the Inclusive Collection, which now spans 150+ resorts and 55,000+ rooms across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe.
