FLY91 launches daily Kochi–Agatti flights, announces expansion to six more regional airports
FLY91 has announced the launch of daily non-stop flights between Kochi and Agatti in the Lakshadweep islands, with bookings now open in both directions. New Kochi–Agatti Route - Daily non-stop flights between Kochi and Agatti in the Lakshadweep islands have been launched. - This strengthens connectivity to the islands, complementing existing services via Goa. Expansion to Seven New Stations - Over the next 90 days, FLY91 will add seven new destinations: - Kochi - Rajahmundry - Vijayawada - Hubballi - Dabolim (Goa) - Nanded - Indore Fleet Growth - Currently operating six ATR 72-600 aircraft, with three more joining within 45 days. - This phased expansion supports higher frequencies and new city pairs while maintaining reliability. Impact on Lakshadweep - Agatti Island, known for coral reefs and lagoons, will benefit from improved tourism access. - Residents gain better connectivity for education, healthcare, and commerce. Strategic Vision - CEO Manoj Chacko emphasized that tier-two and tier-three destinations will drive India’s next growth phase. - The expansion will bring FLY91’s network to 15 stations, aligning with its measured growth strategy. This move positions FLY91 as a strong regional player, focusing on underserved markets and boosting sustainable tourism in emerging destinations.
