Open Position: GSTC Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing market access benefits for businesses that achieve a meaningful degree of verified compliance with the GSTC Standards

Position Overview
The Marketing Manager will lead efforts to translate GSTC certification into market value, strengthen partnerships, and support adoption of sustainable tourism standards globally.

Roles & Responsibilities
Market Development
- Create clear value propositions for GSTC-certified businesses.
- Represent GSTC at events and speaking engagements.
- Develop case studies and showcases of best practices.

Partner Coordination
- Liaise with Singapore-based initiatives (STB, SDC, SHA, SACEOS).
- Support accreditation teams in geographic distribution of auditors.

Public-Sector Adoption
- Advise National Tourism Organizations on certification and assurance.
- Encourage harmonization of GSTC standards globally.

Cross-Functional Support
- Deliver KPIs and support GSTC leadership.
- Provide evidence-based inputs for program development.
- Handle administrative duties under CEO/General Manager.

Scope & Reporting
- Scope: Singapore, ASEAN, Asia-Pacific, with global support as needed.
- Reports to: CEO.
- Works with: Singapore office team, Director of Stakeholder Engagement, Chief Assurance Officer, Communications Manager, Training team, and global staff.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (business, marketing, tourism, public policy, or related).
- 5+ years in tourism partnerships, certification/standards, or market development.
- Strong English communication (multilingual a plus).
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, cross-cultural communication, and independent work.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.

- Comfortable in hybrid/remote work environments.

- Preference: Singapore-based applicants; GSTC training completion is a plus.
