Air India has announced a major expansion of its flight network for the Northern Winter Schedule starting 26 October 2025, adding 174 weekly flights across key domestic and short-haul international routes. This move enhances connectivity to high-demand destinations in India and Southeast Asia. Short-Haul International Additions - Delhi–Kuala Lumpur: Increased from 7x to 10x weekly (from 15 November) - Delhi–Denpasar (Bali): Increased from 7x to 10x weekly (from 01 December) Domestic Route Enhancements Rajasthan (from 26 October): - Delhi–Jaipur: 3x daily (new route) - Delhi–Jaisalmer: 2x daily (new route) - Delhi–Udaipur: Increased to 3x daily - Mumbai–Jaipur/Udaipur/Jodhpur: All increased by 1x daily Madhya Pradesh: - Delhi–Indore: 4x daily - Delhi–Bhopal: 3x daily - Mumbai–Indore: 2x daily Gujarat: - Mumbai–Bhuj and Delhi–Rajkot: Both increased to 2x daily Other Routes: - Delhi–Varanasi, Raipur, Port Blair, Aurangabad, Guwahati, Nagpur: All increased to 2–3x daily - Mumbai–Dehradun, Patna, Amritsar: All increased to 2x daily Fleet Upgrade Air India’s retrofit program for its legacy Airbus A320neo fleet is nearly complete. Of 27 aircraft, 26 have been upgraded with new cabin interiors featuring Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy, enhancing passenger experience across 80+ domestic and short-haul international routes. This expansion reflects Air India’s commitment to improving connectivity and elevating service standards across its growing network.
