Emirates and World Rugby commit to new decade together, cementing one of rugby's longest-running partnerships

Emirates and World Rugby have just announced a landmark renewal of their partnership, extending it for another ten years through 2035. This makes Emirates the Platinum Partner and Principal Partner of World Rugby — the first time any organization has held the Platinum Partner title.

Key Highlights of the Partnership
- World Rugby Events:
Emirates will remain Principal Partner of the Men’s Rugby World Cups in 2027 (Australia), 2031 (USA), and 2035, as well as the Women’s Rugby World Cups in 2029 (Australia) and 2033 (USA).

- Match Officials:
Referees at all Rugby World Cup tournaments and international matches will continue to be branded as “Emirates World Rugby Match Officials” wearing the airline’s Fly Better kit.

Emirates will enjoy pitch-side branding, logo placement across World Rugby’s digital channels, and visibility in press and promotional materials.

Emirates has been involved in rugby sponsorship since 1987, starting with the Emirates Dubai Sevens, and has supported every Rugby World Cup since 2007.
