6 Indian Cities Among Top 100 Food Cities in the World, as per recently released TasteAtlas rankings

According to the TasteAtlas 2024/25 rankings, six Indian cities earned spots among the Top 100 Food Cities in the World, showcasing the country’s rich and diverse culinary heritage.

Mumbai (Rank 5)
The highest-ranked Indian city! Known for its vibrant street food like Vada Pav, Bhel Puri, and Kheema Pav. Places like Ram Ashraya and Shree Thaker Bhojanalay are local legends.

Amritsar (Rank 43)
Famous for Amritsari Kulcha, Dal Makhani, and Lassi. The food here is steeped in Punjabi tradition and ghee-laced joy.

Delhi (Rank 45)
A melting pot of Mughal and modern flavors. Think Chole Bhature, Murgh Makhani, and Pakoras. Bukhara and Saravana Bhavan are must-visits.

Hyderabad (Rank 50)
