Vietjet hosts familiarisation trip for Indian media to Phuket, Patong & Phi Phi Islands

Vietjet recently organized a vibrant familiarisation trip for Indian travel media, influencers, and content creators to showcase the charm of Phuket, Patong and Phi Phi Islands, as part of its growing India–Thailand connectivity initiative.

Flight Experience
- We flew from Mumbai to Phuket aboard Vietjet’s new service, enjoying the SkyBoss premium economy class.

Phuket Exploration
- A scenic flight to Phuket led to a seafood lunch at a michelin star restaurant.
- We strolled through Phuket Old Town, soaking in its colonial architecture and vibrant street art.
- Evening entertainment included dinner at an ocean view restaurant followed by the Cabaret Show.
- Accommodation was at Citrus Patong, a trendy lifestyle hotel near the beach.

Phi Phi Island Adventure
- Next day we took a speedboat from Chalong Pier to reach the stunning Phi Phi Lae, Phi Phi Don and Koh Khai Islands.
- The journey across the Andaman Sea offered breathtaking views of limestone cliffs and turquoise waters.
- Maya Bay, famous from the film The Beach, is now restricted to protect the ecosystem

Night Market, Massage & Gem Museum
- On the final day we visited Gems Gallery Phuket to experience Thailand’s largest jewelry showroom and gem museum.
- Phuket is a haven for wellness seekers. We experienced the relaxing head and shoulder massage and the Thai full body massage.
- The last experience was the Phuket Sunday Night Market (Walking Street), A bustling street transformed into a vibrant market with food stalls, live music, local art, and souvenirs.
