Delhi Metro Fare Revised – Effective August 25, 2025

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has officially revised its ticket prices, marking the first fare adjustment since 2017. Here's a quick breakdown of the changes:

New Fare Structure
0–2 km: Previous - ₹10 New Fare - ₹11
2–5 km: Previous - ₹20 New Fare - ₹21
5–12 km: Previous - ₹30 New Fare - ₹32
12–21 km: Previous - ₹40 New Fare - ₹43
21–32 km: Previous - ₹50 New Fare - ₹54
More than 32 km:Previous - ₹60 New Fare - ₹64

Special Days
- Fares on Sundays and national holidays still remain lower by ₹10 or ₹11 than weekdays except on first fare stage, but have also seen slightly increased.

Smart Card Perks
- Smart card users will continue to receive discounts, making them a cost-effective option for regular commuters.

DMRC emphasized that the hike is minimal and necessary to keep up with operational costs. If you're a frequent rider, switching to a smart card might soften the blow.
