IndiGo has announced a significant recovery in its operations after recent disruptions. According to their latest press statement: Flight Operations: IndiGo has scaled back up to 1,500 daily flights, compared to just over 700 flights the previous day. Network Connectivity: Over 95% of its destinations are now reconnected, with flights operating to 135 out of 138 destinations. Reason for Disruption: The airline had temporarily reduced flights to reset its network, systems, and crew rosters for stability. Fleet & Reach: IndiGo operates with a fleet of 400+ aircraft, serving 90+ domestic and 45 international destinations, with more than 2,300 daily flights in normal operations. Recognition: It was named “Best Airline in India and South Asia” at the World Airline Awards 2025 (Skytrax). Customer Commitment: IndiGo emphasized gratitude to passengers, staff, and government agencies, apologizing for the inconvenience and promising to rebuild trust.
