Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group, has appointed Patrick Manthe as General Manager of Avani+ Luang Prabang in Laos, bringing an experienced regional hotelier to the 53-room property within the UNESCO World Heritage town.

- Patrick Manthe, a Swiss national with over 25 years of hospitality experience, has been appointed General Manager of Avani+ Luang Prabang in Laos.
- He previously led Amari Pattaya in Thailand, and before that held GM roles at Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan and Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay in the Philippines.
Career Highlights
- At Boracay, he successfully reopened the resort, achieving record revenue and profit in 2022.
- Known for integrating art and cultural experiences into guest offerings.
- Earlier roles include GM of Chatrium Hotel & Residence Riverside Bangkok, pre-opening leadership at U Sathorn Bangkok, and senior positions at Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok and Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi.
