Air India and Ministry of Tourism enter MoU to jointly promote India as a global tourism destination

Air India, India's leading global airline, and the Ministry of Tourism (MoT), Government of India, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly promote India as a premier global tourism destination and strengthening India’s position as a key aviation and transit hub.

Strategic Goals
- Boost inbound tourism by aligning Air India’s global reach with the Ministry’s Incredible India branding.
- Strengthen India’s aviation hubs (Delhi & Mumbai) as international gateways, encouraging stopover and transit tourism.
- Enhance visitor experiences through curated storytelling, loyalty program tie-ins, and cultural access offers.

Air India’s Role
- Serves 40 international destinations across five continents.
- Operates with 25 codeshare and 120+ interline partnerships, connecting India to over 1,000 destinations worldwide.
- Uses its aircraft, inflight experiences, and digital platforms as channels to showcase India’s culture and heritage.

- Co-branded campaigns across digital, social, and inflight platforms.
- Trade engagement with tour operators and travel partners globally.
