AmaWaterways today unveiled the first details and renderings of AmaRudi, its highly anticipated second double-width river ship scheduled to debut on the Danube River in spring 2027.
Design & Capacity
- Second double-width river ship, following the groundbreaking AmaMagna (2019).
- Will be the largest river cruise ship in Europe, yet designed for intimacy: 196 guests in 98 staterooms and suites.
- Inspired by the Danube River’s cities and cultures, blending contemporary elegance with subtle historical references.
Legacy & Naming
- First AmaWaterways vessel named after a man: Rudi Schreiner, co-founder and Chairman.
- Schreiner grew up along the Danube, making this dedication deeply personal.

- Multiple dining venues: Journey’s Restaurant, The Chef’s Table, al fresco dining, and Rudi’s Wine Bar.
- Complimentary beer, soft drinks, and 30+ curated wines at meals.
