Advisory for Indian Nationals Visiting Thailand from the Embassy of India in Bangkok:
Essential Travel Requirements
- Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months from arrival date.
- Tickets & Accommodation: Confirmed return tickets and hotel bookings are required.
- Travel Plans: Clear itineraries should be prepared.
- Digital Arrival Card: Fill out the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 72 hours before arrival: TDAC Portal tdac.immigration.go.th
- Visa: Carry the appropriate visa for your travel purpose.
Visa Waiver / Visa on Arrival (VOA)
- Tourists using visa waiver or VOA must carry at least THB 20,000 per passenger in cash.
- Do not use visa waiver/VOA if you have a job offer in Thailand.
Immigration & Group Travel
- Keep all documents handy before approaching immigration.
- Each member of a group must individually carry the required documents.
Transit Travelers
- Must have all relevant papers and visas for the final destination country.
