Viking Announces New Offerings for European River Voyages

Viking® announced a range of new European river voyage experiences that are now open for booking. Highlights include scenic Zeppelin airship excursions in Germany, offering guests on select Rhine River itineraries aerial views of Cologne and the Ruhr Valley, along with new culinary and cultural shore excursions, small group shore excursions and expanded options for land extensions across Europe.

New Shore Excursions
Zeppelin Flights (Germany):
- Over the Ruhr Valley and Cologne, offering aerial views of UNESCO sites and landmarks.
Austria (Danube):
- Dinner at Nikolaihof Winery, one of Europe’s oldest biodynamic wineries.
- Guided walk through Dürnstein followed by a local dinner.
Serbia (Danube):
- Market visit and cooking class in Belgrade.
Slovakia (Danube):
- Red Stone Castle tour with wine tasting.
France (Seine):
- Christmas-themed tour of Rouen with local food tastings.
