Vietjet unveiled its next-generation Boeing 737-8 fleet expansion program for Vietjet Thailand while celebrating the milestone of 50 million passengers transported across its Vietnam–Thailand flight network. Milestone Celebration - Vietjet marked the transport of its 50-millionth passenger on the Vietnam–Thailand network. - The celebration coincided with the Thailand–Vietnam Business Forum 2026, held during the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations. - Attended by Vietnam’s General Secretary & President To Lam, Thailand’s Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, and senior leaders from both countries. Fleet Expansion - Vietjet Thailand will receive its 10th Boeing 737-8 aircraft in May 2026. - Current fleet: 22 aircraft. - Expansion goal: 50 Boeing 737-8 aircraft in the coming years. - The modern fleet will enhance connectivity across Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, China, India, and Asia-Pacific.
