Qatar Airways has announced that starting 22 July 2026, it will begin operating flights to Caracas, Venezuela (CCS) and Bogotá, Colombia (BOG). This marks a major milestone, as Qatar Airways becomes the first Gulf carrier to serve Venezuela and the first airline to connect the Middle East directly with Caracas and Bogotá. Frequency: Two weekly flights (Wednesdays and Sundays) Route & Schedule: - Doha (DOH) → Bogotá (BOG): Departs 07:30, arrives 16:05 - Bogotá (BOG) → Caracas (CCS): Departs 17:35, arrives 20:40 - Caracas (CCS) → Doha (DOH): Departs 22:40, arrives 19:55 (+1 day) Connectivity Highlights - Smooth onward connections via Hamad International Airport to destinations in Australia, China, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea, and the UAE. - Caracas and Bogotá become the 15th and 16th destinations in the Americas for Qatar Airways. - This expansion strengthens the airline’s global network, which will cover over 160 destinations in summer 2026.
