Singapore Airlines (SIA) will progressively increase the frequencies on flights between Singapore and Manchester, Milan, Munich, and London Gatwick in the coming months to meet the strong demand on these routes, and enhance connectivity options at its Singapore hub. New Madrid Route (via Barcelona) - Launch date: 26 October 2026 - Frequency: 5 times weekly (SQ388/SQ387) - Aircraft: Airbus A350-900 long-haul (253 seats: 42 Business, 24 Premium Economy, 187 Economy) - Madrid becomes SIA’s 15th European destination and second in Spain. - Tickets go on sale from June 2026. Other European Adjustments - Manchester (UK): Daily flights from 13 July 2026 (up from 5x weekly). - London Gatwick (UK): Daily flights from 25 October 2026, complementing 4x daily Heathrow services (total 6x daily to London). - Milan (Italy): Daily flights from 25 October 2026 (up from 4x weekly). - Munich (Germany): New 3x weekly service from 26 October 2026, bringing total Munich flights to 10 weekly. - Barcelona (Spain): Current twice-weekly service restructured into the new Madrid-linked route.
