Akasa Air has announced a major expansion into Southeast Asia by adding Hanoi, Vietnam as its seventh international destination. Starting 4 September 2026, the airline will operate four weekly direct flights between Mumbai and Hanoi (on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays). This move strengthens Akasa’s connectivity in the region and supports growing travel and cultural exchange between India and Vietnam. Flight Schedule - Mumbai → Hanoi: Departs 05:35 hrs, arrives 12:00 hrs - Hanoi → Mumbai: Departs 13:30 hrs, arrives 17:10 hrs Strategic Expansion - Hanoi joins Akasa’s international network alongside Doha, Jeddah, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait City, and Phuket. - The airline now connects 26 domestic cities and 7 international destinations. Fleet & Sustainability - Operates 37 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, known for fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. - Akasa has placed firm orders for 226 Boeing 737 MAX planes, signaling long-term growth.
