Indian Hotels Company (IHCL),India’s largest hospitality company, announced the signing of a resort in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh. This greenfield project will be branded as Gateway. Resort Highlights - 96 rooms with sweeping views of the Shivalik hills. - Dining options: all‑day restaurant, specialty restaurant, and bar. - Leisure facilities: heated pool, fitness centre, and spa. - Banquet hall (4,000 sq ft) for weddings, corporate retreats, and social events. Destination Appeal - Kasauli is known for its colonial charm, heritage sites, and scenic landscapes. - Popular attractions include Christ Church, Gilbert Trail, and nature walks. - Its proximity to major cities makes it a convenient hill getaway. Partnership - Developed with Vasuki Hospitality Private Limited, part of the Ornay Group. - Marks Vasuki’s entry into hospitality, leveraging Kasauli’s growing popularity. IHCL Expansion - With this signing, IHCL now has 27 hotels in Himachal Pradesh, including 12 under development. - Strengthens the Gateway brand, which focuses on full‑service hotels in leisure destinations.
