Chennai Metro to permanently close B4 Entry at Nandanam Metro Station from 23rd March 2026

CMRL has officially confirmed that the B4 entrance at Nandanam Metro Station (towards BSNL Office) will be permanently closed from 23rd March 2026.

Reason for Closure:
Part of Phase-II construction and integration works, aimed at long-term improvements in connectivity and operational efficiency.

Alternative Entrances:
- Same side as B4: A2 and A3 - Opposite side of B4: B1, B2, and B3 - All located along Anna Salai and fully operational.

Passenger Guidance:
- Directional signage and guidance boards installed around the station. - Station staff available to assist commuters.

Future Access:
Entry to the existing Phase-I station will be available through the new Phase-II entrance once it opens.

Impact
This closure is a short-term inconvenience but is essential for critical infrastructure development. It reflects CMRL’s commitment to enhancing passenger convenience, safety, and seamless travel in the long run.
