Marriott International has signed a landmark agreement with KS Hotels to introduce The Luxury Collection brand to Cambodia and Laos, marking Marriott’s debut in Laos and the brand’s entry into both countries. Two storied boutique hotels will be converted and elevated under the Luxury Collection portfolio: La Résidence Phou Vao, Luang Prabang (Laos) - Debut: October 2026 - Setting: Hilltop retreat overlooking the UNESCO-protected old town, golden temples, and the Mekong River. - Features: 41 rooms and suites with traditional Lao craftsmanship, tropical gardens, outdoor pool, yoga deck, spa, and curated retail boutique. - Dining: La Brasserie de la Résidence — French bistro classics alongside exploratory Lao cuisine. La Résidence Angkor, Siem Reap (Cambodia) - Debut: October 2027 - Setting: Along the Siem Reap River, gateway to Angkor Archaeological Park. - Features: 59 rooms, 14 suites, and 3 exclusive residences with private pools. Facilities include spa with hydrothermal features, outdoor pool, fitness center, and boutique. - Dining: La Brasserie de La Résidence, Khmer Funk (regional street-inspired eatery), café, cocktail lounge, and pool bar.
