Uttarakhand, also known as Devbhoomi or the Land of Gods, is home to numerous temples and welcomes devotees all year round. Among the countless religious sites and circuits that devotees visit in Uttarakhand, one of the most prominent is the Char Dham Yatra.

Registration Timeline
- Online registration: Started March 6, 2026 at 7 AM via the official app and Uttarakhand tourism portal https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in/signin.php.
- Offline registration: Begins April 17, 2026 at counters in Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Dehradun.

Temple Opening Dates
- Gangotri – April 19
- Yamunotri – April 19
- Kedarnath – April 22
- Badrinath – April 23
- Pilgrimage begins on Akshaya Tritiya (April 19).

Online Registration Process
1. Visit the official Char Dham Yatra portal or download the mobile app.
2. Create an account using your mobile number.
3. Enter personal details (name, ID proof, travel dates).
4. Select temple destinations.
5. Submit and download the confirmation slip.
6. Carry the slip + valid ID during the pilgrimage.

Fees & Services
- Registration: Free of cost.
- Helicopter services (Kedarnath):
- ₹6,000–₹9,000 per person (one-way).
- Round-trip packages cost more depending on demand and operator.
- Bookings available through authorized operators.
