Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, announced the signing of a Taj hotel in Patna, Bihar. This is a greenfield project.

Project Overview
- A greenfield project developed in partnership with Patliputra Palace Pvt. Ltd.
- Located opposite Gandhi Maidan, with the River Ganges to the north.
- Will feature 500 rooms, making it one of the largest hotels in the region.

Facilities & Amenities
- Dining: All-day dining restaurant, two specialty restaurants, and a lobby lounge.
- Leisure: Temperature-controlled swimming pool, fitness centre, recreational facilities, salon, and J Wellness Circle spa.
- Events: Expansive banqueting facilities including a 16,000 sq. ft. ballroom plus multiple meeting spaces, ideal for conventions and large social gatherings.

- Patna is emerging as a fast-growing urban centre with improved connectivity and infrastructure.
- The hotel strengthens IHCL’s presence in Bihar, bringing its portfolio in the state to seven hotels (including four under development).
