IndiGo Commences Repatriation Flights and Progressively Resumes Scheduled Operations
In-light of the evolving situation in the Middle East and Persian Gulf, IndiGo has begun its repatriation efforts aligned with the relevant authorities in India and the respective governments. Repatriation Efforts: - Four flights en route to Jeddah. - One flight planned to/from Muscat later today. From 04 March 2026: - More scheduled flights and increased seat capacity. - Select reinstated routes include: - Middle East: Muscat, Jeddah, Madinah - Europe: Athens - Total: 13 return flights (26 sectors). UAE Operations: - Repatriation flights are being worked on, but subject to local approvals and evolving conditions. Safety Priority: - IndiGo emphasizes that safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft remains paramount. - Continuous monitoring of airspace conditions and coordination with authorities for slots and permits.
