Minor Hotels, a leading global hotel owner and operator, has announced the signing of a management agreement with MK Group for two new additions to its portfolio on Europe’s Adriatic coast. From 12 February 2026 the two properties will be operated by Minor Hotels and will reopen for the 2026 season in late March. Strategic Expansion - Partnership: Minor Hotels signed a management agreement with MK Group, a major player in Adriatic tourism and real estate. - Debut Markets: This move introduces Minor Hotels into Slovenia and Croatia for the first time. - Timeline: - Operations began in February 2026. - Extensive refurbishments are underway, with relaunches planned for Q1 2027 under the Anantara and Minor Reserve Collection luxury brands. Adriatic Istria Resort (Croatia) - 186 rooms, spa, wellness center, pools, beach access, and premier golf course (Golf Adriatic PGA National Croatia). - Will relaunch as Anantara Adriatic Istria Resort. - Emphasis on experiential luxury, cultural journeys, and nature-led activities.
