AYLAC to be present at WTM Latin America 2026

The Yuluca Alliance (AYLAC) will be present at WTM Latin America 2026, taking place from April 14–16, 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil.

Session Participation:
- Jorge Moller, GSTC Latin America & Caribbean Program Director, will speak in the session “Sustainable Management and Certification: Pathways for Implementing the GSTC Standards in Latin America and the Caribbean.”
- He will share updates on AYLAC’s progress in advancing sustainable tourism across the region.

AYLAC’s Mission:
- Launched in September 2024 after the First GSTC Latin American & Caribbean Summit in Colombia.
- Strengthened during the GSTC Global Conference 2025 in Fiji, where Mr. Moller emphasized community-focused strategies and collective action.
- Encourages collaboration among countries to promote sustainable tourism practices and protect natural heritage.

WTM Latin America Scale:
- Last edition welcomed 32,000+ professionals, 837 exhibitors from 49 countries, and featured 54 conferences and seminars.
- Brings together stakeholders from travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, cruises, luxury tourism, and travel technology.

Responsible Tourism Awards 2026
- Hosted at WTM Latin America to spotlight impactful sustainability projects.
- Categories:
- Six conventional categories open to all projects.
- One Special Category for Regenerative Tourism, aligned with the 2026 theme and exclusively for destinations.
- Application Deadline: February 13, 2026 (Brazil time).
