Key Highlights - Effective Date: 1 April 2026 (pending regulatory approvals). - Scope: Full suite of ground handling services across Terminals 1 & 2 – passenger, ramp, and baggage operations. - Expansion: Builds on Menzies’ 15+ years of cargo operations at BLR. - Recruitment: ~1,000 new employees to be hired in the first three years, adding to the existing 1,700-strong cargo team. - Investment: Over US$9.2 million in modernising and standardising ground support equipment (GSE), including electric GSE to support sustainability goals. - Strategic Importance: BLR Airport handles 43+ million passengers annually, making it one of India’s busiest and fastest-growing aviation hubs.
