Safety & Reliability Measures Turnout Renewal: - 7,161 Thick Web Switches and 1,704 Weldable CMS Crossings installed in 2024–25. - Over 8,000 Thick Web Switches and 3,000+ Weldable CMS Crossings being added in 2025–26. Ballast Deep Screening: - 7,442 km completed in 2024–25. - 7,500+ km underway in 2025–26. Track Machines: - More than 1,100 procured since 2014, enabling faster mechanised maintenance. Safety Fencing: - 15,000 km of fencing installed to reduce cattle run-over incidents and trespassing. Impact - Safer, faster, and more reliable train operations across India. - Strong emphasis on asset reliability, passenger safety, and speed efficiency.
