Job Opening: GSTC Accreditation Compliance Manager

The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) is currently hiring for the role of Accreditation Compliance Manager.

Role Overview
- Conduct and oversee accreditation assessments of certification bodies (CBs) against GSTC requirements.
- Safeguard the integrity, consistency, and credibility of GSTC’s accreditation system.
- Activities include desk assessments, office assessments, witness assessments, and ongoing surveillance.

Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Compliance Review: Evaluate CBs’ management systems, audit records, and certification decisions against GSTC and ISO standards.
- Technical Support: Provide input to accreditation decision-making, harmonize outcomes across regions, and handle complex cases.
- System Improvement: Contribute to manuals, procedures, guidance documents, and assessment tools.
- Reporting: Works under the Chief Assurance Officer (CAO) and Senior Accreditation Manager.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree minimum (tourism, sustainability, environmental sciences preferred).
- At least 3 years’ experience in certification/accreditation assessments.
- Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17065, ISO 19011, and conformity assessment systems.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with sustainability certification schemes and tourism sector operations.
- Experience in international, multi-stakeholder environments.

Preferred Profile
- Singapore-based applicant.
- Knowledge of the MICE sector (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions).
- Prior experience in accreditation operations.
- Completion of GSTC training programs.
