AirAsia supports festive season travel through its annual fixed fares initiatives for Lunar New Year and Hari Raya

AirAsia is excited to announce its yearly fixed fares initiatives today, aiming at providing affordable fares for all in the upcoming festive seasons, including Lunar New Year and Hari Raya.

Fixed Fare Offers
- Peninsular Malaysia → Sarawak: RM328 (all-in, one way)
- Peninsular Malaysia → Sabah: RM398 (all-in, one way)
- Includes passenger service charge, regulatory fees, fuel surcharges, and other applicable charges.
- Valid only for selected flights.

Travel Periods
Lunar New Year 2026
- Booking window: Until 24 February 2026
- Travel dates: 13–24 February 2026

Hari Raya 2026
- Booking window: Until 26 March 2026
- Travel dates: 18–26 March 2026

Scale of Operations
- 1,578 flights during both festive periods.
- 31,000+ seats available at fixed fares.
- Over the past 3 years:
- 137,000 fixed fare seats offered.
- 761 additional flights introduced to East Malaysia to meet demand.

Government Collaboration
- Supports Malaysia’s RM400 FLYsiswa programme, helping students travel between Peninsular and East Malaysia.
- Minister of Transport emphasized affordability and accessibility for families during peak festive travel.

- Arrive early at the airport:
- Baggage drop opens 3 hours before international flights.
- 2 hours before domestic flights.
