Vietjet continues to welcome new aircraft, increases flights for New Year 2026 peak season

Over three consecutive days on December 30, 31, 2025 and January 1, 2026, Tan Son Nhat Airport has been filled with vibrant and festive Vietjet atmosphere as the airline welcoming three new-generation A321neo aircraft into its modern fleet, serving the surging travel demand during the New Year 2026 peak season.

Fleet Expansion
- Vietjet welcomed three new-generation Airbus A321neo aircraft (registrations VN-A553, VN-A554, VN-A575) between December 30, 2025 – January 1, 2026.
- These arrivals are part of a record fleet expansion of 22 new aircraft in less than one month, the largest in Vietjet’s history.
- The airline also added four wet-leased aircraft ahead of the holiday season.

Extra Flights for New Year 2026
- Vietjet scheduled 380 additional flights, equivalent to 78,000 seats, during the New Year peak season.
- Key domestic routes include Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City connections to Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Da Lat, and more.

Passenger Experience Enhancements
- Expanded check-in resources and personnel to reduce congestion.
- Introduced biometric technology for faster, more convenient flight procedures.
- Passengers can complete pre-flight steps via the Vietjet Air app and VneID app, minimizing waiting times at counters.

This move positions Vietjet strongly for the holiday surge, combining capacity growth with digital innovation to handle booming demand.
