Hilton is making a major expansion move in Oman with the signing of three new hotels in Muscat, including the Sultanate’s first Waldorf Astoria, set to open in January 2026. The Trio of New Hotels: 1. Waldorf Astoria Muscat Al Husn - Rebranding of the existing Al Husn Hotel after extensive renovation - 180 luxury rooms and suites - Five high-end dining venues - Signature Waldorf Astoria Spa - Private beach access 2. Hilton Muscat Al Bandar - 198 rooms and suites - Six dining options - Grand ballroom and boardrooms - Spa with hydro pool, steam rooms, and ice fountain 3. DoubleTree by Hilton Muscat Al Waha - 302 family-friendly rooms - Four dining venues - Warm, welcoming service style Location & Experience: - All three hotels will be located in Barr Al Jissah, a scenic waterfront development surrounded by mountains and beaches. - Shared amenities include: - 15 dining venues across the three properties - 600 meters of private beach - Lazy river, six pools, tennis courts, kids’ club, mini-golf, water sports, and a dive center Strategic Vision: - Supports Oman’s Vision 2040, which aims to attract 12 million tourists annually - Hilton currently operates three hotels in Oman and this expansion doubles its footprint in the country
