Banned Items on Metro Trains: Don't travel with these items

Metro Trains has a strict list of prohibited items to ensure passenger safety and smooth operations. Here's what you cannot carry while traveling:

Sharp or dangerous objects:
- Knives, scissors, blades, swords
- Ice picks, metal rods

Weapons:
- Firearms (pistols, revolvers, rifles)
- Ammunition and explosives

Flammable or hazardous materials:
- Gas cylinders, kerosene, petrol, diesel
- Firecrackers, matchboxes, lighters

Liquids and chemicals:
- Acids, paints, thinner, bleach

Oversized luggage:
- Items exceeding 80cm x 50cm x 30cm or weighing over 25kg

Other restricted items:
- Alcohol (in open containers)
- Pets (except service animals)
- Car batteries, power banks over permitted wattage

These rules are enforced by CISF personnel and monitored via CCTV surveillance across stations.
