This move is part of its Northern Winter 2025 schedule and reflects growing demand on one of its busiest international routes. Key Highlights - Frequency Boost: The Delhi–London (Heathrow) route will now operate 28 times weekly, up from 24, adding 1,196 seats each way per week. - Aircraft Deployment: Flights will be operated using Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft, offering Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins. - Enhanced Experience: - Complimentary WiFi and 3,000+ hours of inflight entertainment across all cabins. - Premium lounge access at Heathrow for Business Class and eligible Maharaja Club members. - Luxury bedding, amenity kits, and curated Indian and international cuisine onboard. Broader UK Network Air India is now the largest carrier between India and the UK, with: - 61 weekly flights and 18,066 seats per week (one-way). - Connections from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Amritsar to London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and Birmingham.
