Agoda has expanded its Tech Camp Day initiative to Malaysia for the first time, marking a major milestone in its regional social impact program. Key Highlights - Event Location & Date: Held at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Kuala Lumpur on November 6–7, 2025. - Participation: Over 300 students from UiTM joined the two-day program. - Focus Areas: - Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills - Modern front-end frameworks - User-centric design and tooling - Generative AI applications - Hands-On Learning: Students built their own AI-powered search engine under the guidance of more than 20 Agoda software engineers. - Certification: All participants received an official certificate of attendance from Agoda. Recognition & Endorsements - Supported by the Ministry of Digital Malaysia and the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. - Endorsed by UiTM leadership and government officials, including Michelle Ng Mei Sze, Political Secretary to the Digital Minister. - The initiative aligns with Malaysia’s strategy to become an AI Nation by 2030.
