Vietjet receives PM’s Commendation for achievements in implementing end-to-end biometric air travel procedures
Vietjet has been awarded a Commendation Certificate by the Vietnamese Prime Minister for its outstanding achievements in implementing the Government’s Project 06 during the 2022–2025 period, contributing to the cause of socialist construction and national defense. Award Recognition: Vietjet has been awarded a Commendation Certificate by the Vietnamese Prime Minister for its achievements in implementing biometric air travel procedures during the Government’s Project 06 (2022–2025). Biometric Innovation: Vietjet was the first enterprise to apply electronic identification, authentication, and biometric recognition via the VNeID platform for passengers, enabling end-to-end digital air travel. Passenger Benefits: Travelers can now complete check-in, security screening, and boarding using eKYC on the national electronic ID and Vietjet Air apps, reducing processing time and improving efficiency. Government Collaboration: The project was carried out under the direction of the Prime Minister with support from the Ministry of Public Security – Department C06. Socio-Economic Impact: The commendation highlights Vietjet’s role in supporting sustainable socio-economic development and placing people at the center of public service delivery.
