By Air The only airport in Nagaland is at Dimapur, which is well-connected to the cities of Guwahati and Kolkata. For international flights, one should head to airstrips at Kolkata or Guwahati. By Road National Highway (NH) 39 runs through Dimapur and connects it to Kohima and Imphal with good motorable roads. By Rail Dimapur Railway station is only connected to the cities of Kolkata and Guwahati and one needs to get to the railheads here to take a train for Dimapur.
