Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) has strengthened its aviation support infrastructure with the operational readiness of its dedicated TajSATS flight kitchen ahead of the Winter Schedule 2026-27 (October 25, 2026 to March 27, 2027).
Key Highlights
The facility is located within the airport precinct and is designed to support the growing requirements of both domestic and international airlines.
Currently, the flight kitchen caters to more than 40 departing flights daily.
It has the capacity to produce 7,500 meals per day, which can be expanded to 15,000 meals daily as passenger traffic and flight operations grow.
Supporting NMIA’s Expansion
According to Subhash Murikenchery, Chief Airport Officer, NMIA, the facility will help support the airport's expanding airline network while enhancing the onboard dining experience for passengers.
The kitchen's location within the airport enables efficient and timely delivery of meals directly to departing aircraft.

Meal production capacity of 7,500 meals daily, scalable to 15,000 meals.

Ability to cater to diverse dietary requirements, including:
