Kerala Travel Mart Exhibition 2026 Commences in Kochi, Keralam
The Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) Exhibition 2026 has officially begun in Kochi, marking the start of India’s largest tourism trade fair.
Inauguration:
Opened by State Minister for Tourism & Culture, Shri P. C. Vishnunadh, alongside senior officials and KTM Society leaders.
Scale of Participation:
- 1,600 selected buyers (out of 3,000 registered) from India and abroad.
- 383 sellers showcasing tourism products and services.
- 15 government stalls, including Kerala Tourism and India Tourism.
Edition:
This is the 13th edition of KTM, reinforcing Kerala’s position as a premier tourism hub.
Significance
The Mart serves as a global platform for Kerala’s tourism industry, connecting buyers and sellers, promoting destinations, and strengthening Kerala’s brand as “God’s Own Country.” It also highlights the state’s focus on sustainable tourism and cultural experiences.
This year’s KTM is expected to generate strong business opportunities and spotlight Kerala’s diverse offerings — from backwaters and Ayurveda to adventure and heritage tourism.
