Etihad brings Beyond Borders to life as it unveils next evolution of guest experience and new A330neo cabins

Etihad’s Beyond Borders initiative marks a bold new chapter in its guest experience, anchored by the debut of the A330neo cabins.

New Cabin Experiences
- First Class: Four private suites with closing doors, 32-inch screens, wireless charging, personal powder stations, and space for companion dining.
- Business Class: 24 fully lie-flat seats, all forward-facing with direct aisle access, sliding doors, 17.3-inch screens, and generous stowage.
- Economy Class: 252 seats with 13.3-inch 4K touchscreens, personal charging, and a dedicated Extra Legroom section offering 4 inches more pitch.

Beyond Borders Design Language
- Extends across the fleet, lounges, dining, amenities, wellbeing, and connectivity.
- Inspired by Abu Dhabi’s natural landscape and architecture, with serene interiors, bespoke lighting, and premium materials.
- Creates consistency across aircraft types, including the A321LR, which already features First suites and lie-flat Business seats on a single-aisle aircraft.

Strategic Investment
- US$20 billion committed to new aircraft and customer experience.
- US$1 billion fleet retrofit program to align older aircraft with the new design.
- Expansion of First Class across more aircraft and routes over the next five years.

Rollout Timeline
- The new A330neo will enter service from September 2027, with 15 aircraft joining over five years.
- Focused on regional and medium-haul markets in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
