- Load factor: 85.2% (slightly down by 0.1 percentage points).
- International demand: Fell 0.1%, but excluding Middle East carriers, grew 1.5%.

- Europe–Asia corridor: Strongest growth at +12.1%.
- North America: Declines in transatlantic traffic, especially from UK, France, and Spain.
- Middle East: Still contracting (-9.5%), but moderating compared to earlier double-digit drops.

Domestic markets:
- China: +5.3% demand.
- Brazil: +6.0% demand.
- India: -6.3% demand.

Industry Outlook
Marie Owens Thomsen (IATA Chief Economist) noted that despite high fuel costs, economic uncertainty, and geopolitical tensions, airlines remain confident, with nearly 3% seat capacity expansion planned for September.

This paints a picture of modest global growth, with strong regional contrasts: Latin America and Africa are surging, Europe is steady, while the Middle East and North America are dragging overall numbers.
