Cunard reveals plans for extensive Queen Victoria transformation

Cunard has announced a major transformation of Queen Victoria, set to take place during her dry dock at Damen Shiprepair in Rotterdam from 17 October to 5 November 2026. When she returns to service on 7 November 2026, guests will be welcomed aboard a refreshed ship ready for her 2027 programme across the Mediterranean, Norwegian Fjords, Canary Islands, and beyond.

Key Enhancements
- Grand Lobby: Redesigned to heighten the sense of arrival and reinforce Cunard’s timeless elegance.
- Queens Room: Reimagined to continue hosting signature Afternoon Tea, live music, and glamorous Gala Evenings.
- Grill Suites: Queens Grill and Princess Grill Suites elevated with sumptuous furnishings and sophisticated detailing.
- New Staterooms: Eight additional Britannia staterooms, including three in the new Britannia Deluxe Oceanview category with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows.

Wellness Innovation
- Introduction of The Pavilion Wellness Café, already popular on Queen Anne (2024) and Queen Elizabeth (2025).
- Menu highlights: plant-based cuisine alongside sustainably sourced meat, fish, and dairy.
