Hilton has just launched its first lifestyle hotel in India with the opening of Slohh by Roach Bengaluru, Curio Collection by Hilton.
What Makes It Special
- Debut in South Asia: This is Hilton’s first Curio Collection property in India, marking its entry into the lifestyle hospitality segment.
- Design & Inspiration: The hotel draws from the Malnad region’s coffee estates and heritage homes, with interiors reflecting the life cycle of a coffee bean — from soft whites and browns to rich chocolate tones and warm spice accents.
- Cultural Connection: Locally rooted experiences include a Potter-in-Residence studio, “Grandma’s Recipe” culinary program, and curated retro-inspired music (jazz, R&B, timeless classics).
Facilities
- Rooms & Suites: 221 keys across seven categories, many with balconies overlooking Varthur Lake. Includes the Malnad Presidential Suite with separate living and dining spaces.
- Events: A 5,000 sq. ft. pillarless ballroom (“The Banyan”) for up to 600 guests, plus meeting rooms and a bridal suite.
- Wellness: Hammam, spa, fitness center, and temperature-controlled outdoor pool.
- Dining: “Nana’s” restaurant serves family-inspired recipes from Karnataka and beyond, alongside global classics. An Executive Club Lounge adds to the social and dining experience.
The Vision
Christina Roach, founder of Roach Lifescapes, emphasized that the hotel is designed to feel like a home — warm, personal, and rooted in nostalgia — while offering a contemporary urban hospitality experience.
Loyalty & Access
The property is part of Hilton Honors, giving members access to exclusive benefits like flexible points, discounts, and digital tools such as mobile check-in and Digital Key.
In short, Hilton is positioning Slohh by Roach as a blend of culture, design, and community-driven hospitality, tailored to Bengaluru’s dynamic business and lifestyle scene.
