Air India Express has announced a milestone move: it will be the first airline to operate international flights from the new Navi Mumbai International Airport, starting 15 July 2026. The inaugural route connects Navi Mumbai directly to Abu Dhabi, offering travelers in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region a second gateway to the UAE. Flight Schedule - From 15 July 2026: 2 weekly flights (Wednesday, Friday) - Abu Dhabi → Navi Mumbai: 05:45 – 10:20 - Navi Mumbai → Abu Dhabi: 02:55 – 04:35 - From 29 July 2026: 3 weekly flights (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) Network Expansion - With this addition, Air India Express will operate 30 weekly flights from Navi Mumbai, connecting to Abu Dhabi, Bengaluru, and Delhi. - Across Maharashtra, the airline runs 95+ weekly flights from Mumbai, 100+ from Pune, and 14 from Nagpur. - It maintains one of the largest India–West Asia networks, linking to Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
