Within the framework of the Vietnam–Singapore Tech Connect Forum, held during the State visit to Singapore by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and State President To Lam, Vietnam Airlines exchanged Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) on the development of a Frequent Flyer Partnership with Singapore Airlines, as well as digital payment agreements with Adyen N.V. and 2C2P by Antom, part of Ant International. Frequent Flyer Partnership: The MoU with Singapore Airlines paves the way for reciprocal benefits between Lotusmiles and KrisFlyer. Members will soon be able to earn and redeem miles across both networks, and enjoy shared privileges such as priority check-in, boarding, and lounge access. Digital Payments Expansion: Collaborations with Adyen N.V. and 2C2P by Antom (Ant International) will unify and enhance Vietnam Airlines’ global payment systems — improving transaction security, authorization rates, and customer experience across markets. Leadership Vision: CEO Le Hong Ha emphasized that these partnerships strengthen Vietnam Airlines’ network and digital ecosystem, aligning with its ambition to become one of Asia’s leading modern, customer-centric airlines. Regional Connectivity: Singapore remains a vital hub — nearly 8.6 million passengers have flown between the two countries since 1991. The airline currently operates 32 weekly flights, with plans to increase Hanoi–Singapore frequency to 14 per week by late October 2026. Strategic Impact This multi-pronged cooperation — with a top-tier airline and global fintech leaders — positions Vietnam Airlines to deliver a seamless end-to-end journey, from booking and payment to loyalty rewards. It also reflects a broader trend in Asian aviation: integrating data-driven partnerships to enhance competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
