Singapore Airlines (SIA) will increase flight frequencies between Singapore and Amsterdam to 10 weekly services between 1 August and 22 October 2026, up from the current daily services, in response to strong demand for travel between the Asia-Pacific region and Europe. Timeline: From 1 August to 22 October 2026, frequencies rise from daily (7x weekly) to 10x weekly. Additional flights: - SQ334: Singapore → Amsterdam (Tue, Thu, Sat) at 1110hrs, arriving 1835hrs. - SQ333: Amsterdam → Singapore (Tue, Thu, Sat) at 2035hrs, arriving 1540hrs (+1). Aircraft: Long-haul Airbus A350-900 variant. - Note: Between 1 July and 24 October 2026, the daily SQ324/323 pair will temporarily use the Boeing 777-300ER. Strategic intent: - Amsterdam is a key European hub in SIA’s network. - The airline aims to extend beyond October 2026 if demand remains strong. Broader European expansion: - New Madrid service (5x weekly via Barcelona). - Increased frequencies to Manchester, Milan, Munich (10x weekly). - London Gatwick upgraded to double-daily. Big Picture This move reflects SIA’s confidence in sustained demand for Asia–Europe travel, while also positioning Singapore as a stronger hub for seamless onward connections. Tickets for the extra Amsterdam flights went on sale 25 May 2026.
