Qatar Airways announces resumption of flight operations between Doha and key destinations across the Middle East, reinstating daily services to the United Arab Emirates and Syria. Qatar Airways Flight Resumptions - United Arab Emirates: Daily flights to Dubai (DXB) and Sharjah (SHJ) restart on 23 April 2026. - Syria: Daily flights to Damascus (DAM) begin on 1 May 2026. Network Expansion - These resumptions are part of Qatar Airways’ phased restoration plan. - From 16 June 2026, the airline will expand its schedule to serve 150+ destinations across six continents. Passenger Flexibility - If you have a confirmed booking between 28 February – 15 September 2026, you’re eligible for: - Complimentary date changes to travel up to 31 October 2026 (subject to availability). - Additional fee-free changes if your flight is impacted. - Refunds of unused ticket value (processing may take up to 28 working days). This is a significant development for travelers in the Middle East, especially those connecting through Doha, as it restores regional connectivity and offers more flexibility for passengers.
