MSC Cruises invites guests to discover the newly enhanced MSC Poesia, which has successfully completed her dry dock refurbishment at the Palumbo Malta Shipyard. MSC Yacht Club added: The “ship-within-a-ship” concept now features 69 suites, 24-hour butler service, private restaurant, lounge, sundeck with whirlpools, and grill/bar. New dining venues: - Butcher’s Cut – American-style steakhouse. - Kaito Sushi Bar – authentic Asian-inspired dishes. Wellness & fitness: Redesigned MSC Aurea Spa, MSC Gym powered by Technogym®, Gentleman’s Barber, workout studios, and the Top 15 Exclusive Solarium. Deployment - Alaska Season 2026: - 7-night itineraries from Seattle (May–Sept 2026). - Ports include Ketchikan, Juneau, Endicott Arm, and Icy Strait Point. - Winter 2026–27: Roundtrip Caribbean sailings from Miami, visiting Jamaica, Colombia, Costa Rica, Aruba, Curaçao, and Belize. - Summer 2027: Returns to Alaska for another season. Strategic Significance - MSC Poesia is the second Musica-class ship to be upgraded (after MSC Magnifica). - All four ships in the class — Poesia, Magnifica, Musica, Orchestra — will now feature MSC Yacht Club. - Reflects MSC’s fleet modernization program and investment in enhancing guest experiences. This move positions MSC Cruises to compete more strongly in the premium Alaska market while also expanding Caribbean offerings with a refreshed product.
