The Airbnb Community Fund (2026) has donated nearly $10 million to more than 130 nonprofits across 25 countries, with a strong focus on economic empowerment, sustainable and rural tourism, environmental sustainability, and women’s entrepreneurship. One of the highlighted recipients in the Asia-Pacific region is ACCESS Development Services in India. The grant will: - Support female entrepreneurs’ incomes through community-based tourism programs, including homestays that allow women to directly benefit from tourism. - Strengthen craft enterprises, helping women artisans scale their businesses and connect to wider markets. - Promote broader support for women’s entrepreneurship, ensuring women gain both financial independence and leadership roles in their communities. This aligns with Airbnb’s mission to empower local communities and create authentic, sustainable travel experiences, while also advancing gender equity.
